NCSP Continuing Professional Development · NASP-Approved Provider

NCSP 10-CE Approved Provider Bundle: Assessment & Intervention

Earn 10 general continuing professional development hours through two self-paced courses focused on executive function, early childhood development, school readiness, and evidence-based interventions for anxiety. Designed for psychologists working in schools seeking professional development from a NASP-approved provider.

Bundle Overview

This 10-credit continuing education bundle combines two courses addressing important areas of psychological practice in educational settings. Participants examine executive function development, assessment of early learning and behavioral readiness, and cognitive behavioral approaches for supporting children and adolescents experiencing anxiety. Through guided readings, practical examples, interactive activities, and applied case studies, participants strengthen their ability to evaluate student needs, plan evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with educators and caregivers.

🧠 Executive Function & School Readiness

Examine working memory, inhibitory control, cognitive flexibility, social-emotional development, and their influence on early learning and classroom participation.

🌱 Anxiety & Emotional Well-Being

Explore cognitive behavioral principles, anxiety-related avoidance, coping strategies, and developmentally appropriate supports for children and adolescents.

📋 Assessment, Intervention & Consultation

Apply evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies through case studies, educational problem-solving, and collaborative planning.

Course Format

This 10-credit bundle includes two online, self-paced independent-study courses featuring assigned professional readings, instructional content, interactive learning activities, applied case studies, and final assessments. Participants receive individual certificates of completion after successfully meeting each course’s requirements.

NCSP Approved-Provider Requirement

NCSP renewal requires at least 10 hours of continuing professional development from NASP- or APA-approved providers during each three-year renewal cycle. This bundle is designed to meet that 10-hour approved-provider requirement through two qualifying courses offered by Child & School Psychology CE, a NASP-approved provider.

These 10 hours also count toward the overall 75-hour NCSP renewal requirement and, when classified as Category H formal self-study, toward the maximum 40-hour allowance for that category. The approved-provider requirement does not create 10 additional hours beyond the 75-hour total. Participants should verify their remaining category limits and renewal requirements before enrolling.
