Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: October 24, 2026
Welcome to Child & School Psychology CE.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the
Child & School Psychology CE website, online courses,
assessments, continuing education activities, downloadable
materials, certificates, and related services.
Child & School Psychology CE is operated by Jaime Flowers as a sole proprietor. In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Child & School Psychology CE.
By accessing this website, creating an account, purchasing or
enrolling in a course, or using any of our services, you agree
to these Terms.
1. About Child & School Psychology CE
Child & School Psychology CE provides online continuing
education and professional development courses related to child
psychology, school psychology, assessment, behavior, ethics,
intervention, mental health, education, and related professional
topics.
Our courses are intended primarily for psychologists, school
psychologists, educational psychologists, behavior analysts,
educators, mental health professionals, and other professionals
seeking continuing education or professional development.
2. Continuing Education Approval and Acceptance
Child & School Psychology CE may hold approvals, provider
status, or recognition from one or more professional organizations.
Approval as a continuing education provider does not mean that
every licensing board, certification organization, employer,
school district, state agency, or other entity will accept every
course for continuing education credit.
Continuing education requirements vary by profession, credential,
licensing board, jurisdiction, and renewal period.
Participants are responsible for determining whether a course
meets the requirements of their individual license, certification,
credential, employer, or professional organization before
purchasing or completing the course.
Child & School Psychology CE does not guarantee that any
licensing board, certification organization, employer, or
regulatory agency will accept a particular course or certificate
for credit.
Any provider approval or accreditation information displayed on
an individual course page applies only as specifically stated on
that page.
3. NASP-Approved Professional Development
When a course is identified as eligible for National Association
of School Psychologists (NASP) professional development, the
applicable provider information and number of eligible professional
development hours will be stated on the course page or certificate.
Provider approval does not constitute endorsement of individual
course content by NASP unless specifically stated otherwise.
Participants remain responsible for confirming whether professional
development activities meet their individual credentialing or
renewal requirements.
4. Future or Additional Approvals
Child & School Psychology CE may obtain additional continuing
education approvals or provider credentials in the future.
A course may only be represented as qualifying for a particular
approval, licensing board, or professional organization when that
approval is expressly stated on the applicable course page.
The existence of approval for one course, profession, or
organization should not be interpreted as approval for all courses
offered through the website.
5. Educational Purposes Only
Course materials are provided for educational and professional
development purposes.
Nothing contained in a course, presentation, article, handout,
assessment, video, or other material constitutes individualized
psychological, medical, legal, behavioral, educational, financial,
or other professional advice.
The information presented should not replace independent
professional judgment, consultation, supervision, applicable
professional standards, or relevant laws and regulations.
Participants are responsible for applying course information
appropriately within the scope of their own education, training,
credential, license, competence, and professional responsibilities.
6. Professional Responsibility
Completion of a course does not establish competence to perform a
particular assessment, intervention, treatment, procedure, or
professional service.
Participants are responsible for practicing within their lawful
and ethical scope of competence.
Child & School Psychology CE is not responsible for decisions,
services, treatment recommendations, assessments, interventions,
or other professional actions taken by a participant based on
information contained within a course.
7. Course Information
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate course descriptions,
learning objectives, continuing education hours, instructor
information, references, and approval information.
Course content may be updated periodically to reflect new research,
professional standards, regulatory requirements, or instructional
improvements.
We may modify, replace, update, or discontinue course content when
reasonably necessary.
8. Course Access
Each course purchase includes access to that course for one (1) year from the date of purchase. When the access period ends, the course will no longer be available in your account. We recommend downloading and saving your certificate as soon as you complete a course.
Purchasing a course provides the purchaser with a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access the course for the one-year access period.
Purchasing a course does not transfer ownership of the course
materials or intellectual property.
When courses are purchased together as a bundle, the one-year access period for every course in the bundle begins on the date the bundle is purchased.
Free courses follow the same access period, completion requirements, and certificate rules as paid courses unless the course page states otherwise.
9. User Accounts
Certain services require users to create an account. You agree to
provide accurate and current information when creating or updating
your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your
username, password, and account information.
Accounts are intended for use only by the individual registered participant.
You may not:
- Share your account with another person;
- Allow another person to complete course requirements on your behalf;
- Complete course requirements on behalf of another individual;
- Provide false credentialing or identifying information;
- Manipulate course completion, time requirements, quizzes, assessments, or certificate systems; or
- Attempt to obtain continuing education credit without satisfying the stated course requirements.
We may suspend or terminate an account when we reasonably believe
that these requirements have been violated.
10. Course Completion Requirements
To receive a certificate of completion or continuing education
credit, participants must complete all applicable course requirements.
Depending on the course, requirements may include:
- Reviewing required instructional materials;
- Completing required instructional time;
- Completing lessons or course modules;
- Passing the post-test with a score of 80% or higher;
- Completing a course evaluation, if the course states that one is required (evaluations are otherwise optional, though we encourage every participant to share feedback);
- Completing required attestations; and
- Meeting any additional requirements stated within the course.
Participants must personally complete all required activities.
11. Assessments and Post-Tests
Courses may include quizzes and a post-test. To earn a certificate, participants must score 80% or higher on the post-test. Participants may retake the post-test as many times as needed.
Assessment questions and answers are part of the proprietary
course materials and may not be reproduced, published, distributed,
sold, uploaded, or shared.
12. Certificates
Certificates are issued based on information contained in the
participant’s account.
Participants are responsible for entering their name, credential
information, license or certification information, and other
required information accurately.
If your name, credential, or license information is incorrect on a certificate, you can correct it by updating your account details and downloading the certificate again. Please review each certificate for accuracy before submitting it to a licensing board, credentialing organization, or employer.
Participants should retain copies of certificates and supporting
documentation required for professional renewal.
13. No Guarantee of License or Certification Renewal
Receiving a certificate from Child & School Psychology CE does
not guarantee that a licensing board, credentialing organization,
certification body, employer, or other entity will approve an
application or renewal.
Participants are responsible for complying with all applicable
continuing education, renewal, reporting, documentation, and
record-retention requirements.
14. Pricing
Course prices are displayed on the website and may change at any
time. A price change will not affect a course already purchased
unless otherwise required by law.
Group or district pricing for multiple participants may be available on request. Please contact us for details.
15. Payments
Payments are processed through third-party payment processors.
By submitting payment information, you represent that you are
authorized to use the payment method provided.
You agree to pay all charges associated with your purchase,
including any applicable taxes.
16. Refunds
We offer a full refund if you request it within 30 days of purchase and have not started the course. A course is considered started once any lesson, course material, quiz, or post-test has been opened.
Refunds are not available once a course has been started, after a certificate of completion has been issued, or more than 30 days after purchase, except where required by law.
Exceptions: if you accidentally purchase the same course more than once, the verified duplicate order will be refunded. If a technical problem prevents you from accessing a course you purchased and we are unable to resolve it, we will issue a refund. See our Return & Refund Policy for details.
Course bundles may be refunded within 30 days of purchase only if none of the courses in the bundle have been started. Free courses are not eligible for refunds.
To request a refund, email jaime.flowers@childschoolpsychologyce.com with your name and order number. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
17. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact Child & School Psychology CE
before initiating a payment dispute so that billing or access issues
can be reviewed.
Nothing in this section limits any rights a consumer may have under
applicable law.
18. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all website and course content is owned by
or licensed to Child & School Psychology CE and is protected by
applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
Protected materials may include:
- Course text;
- Videos;
- Presentations;
- Graphics;
- Worksheets;
- Handouts;
- Assessments;
- Quiz questions;
- Downloadable resources;
- Course designs;
- Certificates;
- Logos; and
- Website content.
Purchasing or accessing a course grants you a limited license for
your own personal educational and professional development use.
19. Prohibition on Sharing Course Materials
Course access and materials are licensed to the individual purchaser.
Course materials may not be uploaded to shared drives, course
repositories, file-sharing services, social media groups,
commercial training platforms, or other systems for use by
individuals who have not purchased or been authorized to access
the materials.
20. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Systems
Users may not use automated tools, scripts, bots, artificial
intelligence systems, or similar technologies to falsely complete
courses, satisfy instructional-time requirements, answer assessments
on the participant’s behalf, or otherwise circumvent course
completion requirements.
Course content may not be systematically extracted, scraped, or
used to train commercial artificial intelligence models without
written authorization.
21. Academic and Professional Integrity
Participants seeking continuing education credit must personally
engage with and complete required course activities.
Falsifying completion information, manipulating instructional time,
sharing assessment answers, impersonating another participant, or
obtaining a certificate without satisfying course requirements may
result in cancellation of the certificate and termination of
account access.
22. Third-Party Content and Links
Courses or website pages may include citations, references, links,
videos, publications, or resources created by third parties.
Child & School Psychology CE does not control and is not
responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy
practices, or policies of third-party websites or services.
23. Technology Requirements
Participants are responsible for having an internet connection,
compatible device, supported web browser, and any software
reasonably necessary to access the courses.
We will make reasonable efforts to address technical issues caused
by our website or learning management system.
24. Accessibility
Child & School Psychology CE seeks to make its educational
materials reasonably accessible to participants.
Participants who experience an accessibility barrier or require
assistance accessing course materials should contact us so that
we can evaluate available accommodations.
25. Privacy
Use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy describes how personal information may be
collected, used, stored, and disclosed.
26. Email Communications
By creating an account or purchasing a course, you may receive
transactional communications necessary to administer your account
or purchase, including receipts, password messages, course
notifications, certificate information, and important service
updates.
Customers may also receive occasional newsletters and promotional emails about our courses and services. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time. Opting out of marketing emails does not stop transactional emails related to your account or purchases.
27. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the website or services to:
- Violate applicable law;
- Infringe intellectual property rights;
- Attempt unauthorized access to another account or system;
- Introduce malicious software;
- Interfere with website security;
- Scrape or systematically copy website or course content;
- Resell individual course access without authorization;
- Misrepresent course completion;
- Manipulate quizzes, timers, completion tracking, or certificates; or
- Use the services for fraudulent or unlawful activity.
28. Suspension or Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when a user materially
violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, compromises
website security, infringes intellectual property rights, or
attempts to fraudulently obtain continuing education credit.
29. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the website, courses, materials,
and services are provided on an “as available” basis.
We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and reliable
educational content but do not warrant that the website will
operate without interruption or that every item of information
will remain current indefinitely.
30. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Child &
School Psychology CE and its owners, employees, instructors,
contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting
from use of the website, courses, or educational materials.
Child & School Psychology CE is not responsible for a licensing
board, credentialing organization, employer, or other third party
declining to accept continuing education credit.
31. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold
harmless Child & School Psychology CE and its owners, employees,
instructors, contractors, and affiliates from claims resulting from
your unlawful use of the website, violation of these Terms,
infringement of third-party rights, or misuse of course materials.
32. Changes to Courses or Services
We may modify website features, course availability, technology
providers, or services from time to time.
When reasonably possible, changes will not interfere with a
participant’s ability to complete a course already purchased
during the applicable access period.
33. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our
services, business practices, technology, or legal requirements.
The current effective date will appear at the top of this page.
34. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas,
without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where
applicable law provides otherwise.
Any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable federal
or state law remain unaffected.
35. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or
unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to
the extent permitted by law.
36. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and
any course-specific terms presented at purchase or enrollment,
constitute the agreement governing use of Child & School
Psychology CE’s website and services.
Questions regarding these Terms, course access, continuing education documentation, billing, refunds, or other services may be sent to jaime.flowers@childschoolpsychologyce.com.
